　　Panama was a Spanish colony for over 300 years. Now it is an independent country. Panama is the home of the Canal(运河) which is one of the engineering wonders of the world. It was built by the United States of America in 1914. Although Panama is one of the poorest countries in Latin America, the Canal is helping to make Panama one of the richest countries.

　　Retro clothes are a reflection of the times. The flapper(快步流星) style of the 1920s was a reflection of the times of change. Women’s clothes in that era were reflective of their newly won freedom and liberation. The classic business suits of the 1980s were dress for success. And the university sweatshirt and jeans of the 1990s were a reflection of the growth of individual expression.
